Absolutely no open flames
We still mourn the scrolls lost in the Great Fire of 404. Use glowstones or enchanted light only.
No indecent acts in public alcoves
Passion is sacred, but the reading nooks are not for coupling. Ask a Librarian for access to a private chamber of reflection.
Stow familiars, pets, and summoned beings in the stable
Only registered creatures of wisdom may roam the stacks. Children are not permitted unless magically aged and self-aware.
Respect intellectual sovereignty
Reproduction of scrolls or lore without written and carnal consent is forbidden.

The library will extract payment in gold, service, or tales.
Do not mar the pages
Scribbling, tearing, or defiling sacred texts may summon the Curator's wrath (and her chain-whip of correction).
Return what you've borrowed in due time
Late returns will result in mild curses, stern lectures, or sensual tickling. Depending on the moon phase.
Borrowing limits exist
Even the most eager minds must pace themselves. Consult your sigil for your current limits.
